Measuring 14 inches tall x 15.5 inches wide x 10 inches deep (35.5 centimeters x 39.3 centimeters x 25.4 centimeters), The Joker Bust illustrates the full extent of his insanity. His contorted face is alarmingly white, contrasted with the vibrant green curls spilling over those desperate, clutching hands. Every deranged thought he’s ever had bubbles to the surface into a chilling smile. What’s so funny? Whatever it is, it’s killing him!
Since its publication, The Killing Joke has been considered one of the most complex and shocking Batman comics of all time. The Joker’s infamous descent into chaos is rendered here in stunning detail, giving collectors an accurate three-dimensional representation of the most widely celebrated shot in the book. Even the villain’s manic cackle, part of the panel background, is brought to the forefront of the collectible in its base. Overlapping, oversized letters spelling HAHAHA blend into his purple suit and exhibit his transformation from sanity to lunacy. Look into his eyes and you’ll see a man already too far gone.
