Originally a passive observer of the Nian Monster tale, Irelia is inspired by the Moon Dancer to alter her destiny and become a world-saving hero.
Retaining her "Blade Dancer" persona, she transforms her homeland's ancient dance into lethal blade combat to lead the resistance and protect her home.
Designed with a vibrant crimson palette, the skin features flowing white hair that exudes a divine, celestial aura. It is rich in traditional Chinese cultural elements, including papercut rabbit motifs, a recall animation where a divine phoenix transforms into an umbrella amidst blooming lotus steps, and a taunt animation where she brews Gongfu tea.
