Who is Skeletor?
As the main villain of the Masters of the Universe franchise and the most dangerous threat to the planet Eternia, Skeletor is an extremely powerful sorcerer with control over a vast range of dark magical powers and considerable scientific skill. A member of the Evil Horde and a warlord trained as the apprentice of the malevolent Hordak, it is suggested that in the past he was Keldor, a lost half-brother of King Randor who vanished into another dimension and was rescued by Hordak. When Hordak and the Horde invaded Eternia, Hordak attempted to kidnap the royal twins, babies born from King Randor and Queen Marlena, but the plan failed, and he left Skeletor behind, taking only the girl, Princess Adora. Skeletor established himself in the Snake Mountain and recruited his own army of warrior minions who serve him, seeking to conquer Eternia and dominate Castle Grayskull and its powers, becoming He-Man’s greatest enemy, the defender of Eternia and the secrets of Castle Grayskull.
