The Agonizer is a carried by members of the Terran Empire to administer punishment for minor infractions. First seen in Star Trek: The Original Series episode “Mirror, Mirror,” it served as a tool of discipline and control within the Empire.
The original filming props were simple in construction, carved from wood and finished with paint to suggest advanced 23rd-century technology. They were purely visual elements and contained no functional components.
Factory Entertainment’s Agonizer replica has been developed through close study of archival reference materials in the Paramount archives and an original surviving prop in a private collection.
The replica is constructed in metal and incorporates a digital sound effect, activated by a pressure switch concealed on the underside, to provide a screen accurate representation of the prop's function as it appeared in the episode.
Limited to just 500 pieces, each replica is presented in an attractive wooden display case and includes a numbered metal plaque and a certificate of authenticity.
