When a Collection Becomes Part of the Studio

At Secret Compass, one of our favorite things is seeing where the pieces we deliver actually end up.

This time, we’re heading to Canada to visit the studio of Ben, a fellow collector who recently added an incredible life-size Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles diorama to his collection.

And when we say life-size, we mean it.

With a value of $2,500, this TMNT diorama is not exactly something you can tuck away on a shelf. It’s a true centerpiece—and Ben found the perfect place for it in his studio.

Seeing a piece like this displayed in its new home is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do at Secret Compass. Every collector has a different space, a different collection, and a different story behind the pieces they choose.

For Ben, this TMNT diorama is now part of that story.

A Collector's Space

There is something special about seeing collectibles outside of a showroom or product page.

A photograph of a piece displayed in a collector’s own studio tells a different story. It shows how the collector has chosen to live with the piece and how it becomes part of their creative space.

That is what the Secret Journal is all about: the people behind the collections.

Ben, thank you for sharing a look at your studio with us and for trusting Secret Compass to be part of your collection journey.

We love seeing where your pieces end up—and we’d love to see yours too.
